  US wishes for consolidated democracy, timely constitution in Nepal

Kathmandu, April 13: 
The United States has expressed its wish for a consolidated democracy, timely constitution, progress and prosperity in Nepal, Agence France Presse (AFP) reported.
Issuing greeting message on the eve of Nepali New Year 2067, Under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, "As Nepal's friend and partner, the United States hopes that the coming year will see continued consolidation of democracy, including the promulgation of a new constitution, that will keep Nepal on the path of progress and prosperity."
Terming the new year an opportunity to "reflect on new beginnings and possibilities", Clinton further said, "we look forward to strengthening the partnership between our governments and the friendship between our people."
The New Year 2067 is important in Nepal in various aspects like promulgation of the new constitution, completion of army integration and completion of the peace process.
